This project for Thurrock Council addressed ongoing vehicle intrusion into a council-managed car park, where an old gate had been damaged and side access left unprotected. Our team supplied and installed robust cast iron bollards and a hingeless barrier to regain site security while maintaining accessibility for pedestrians, wheelchairs, and pushchairs.

Installed cast iron bollards at car park perimeter
Durable Cast Iron Bollards
Restricting Vehicle Access, Preserving Public Flow
The bollards were carefully spaced to allow free movement for pedestrians and mobility aids while fully blocking cars and vans. These high-quality cast iron bollards provide long-term durability and a professional finish that aligns with the existing street scene.
  • Installed to replace ineffective timber barriers
  • Cast iron finish for enhanced resilience and aesthetics
  • Access maintained for pedestrians, wheelchairs, and pushchairs
  • Ideal for high-traffic urban locations
Hingeless Barrier Installed
Simple, Secure Entry Management
To complement the bollards, we installed a secure hingeless barrier near the building's edge. This eliminated the vulnerability caused by the previous gate, ensuring 24/7 vehicle restriction without impacting visibility or requiring regular manual operation.
  • Improved site security for council-managed property
  • Barrier placement protects side access points
  • Zero-maintenance hingeless design
  • Suitable for unmanned car parks and public spaces
