This project at Hayes Hill Farm, part of Lee Valley Regional Park, involved replacing a failing single-line fence with a more robust double stand off fencing system. The new design improves separation between animals and pedestrians, while incorporating a dedicated mesh gate contact zone for safe interaction and passage.
Designed for Public and Animal Safety
Dual-Fence Layout with Contact Zone Access
The new fencing layout features two parallel runs: one to contain livestock, and the other to guide public foot traffic. The two lines are separated by a controlled stand off distance, allowing safe movement without direct contact.
- Double stand off fence design for dual-purpose use
- Mesh gate installed in the contact zone
- Safe separation of livestock and pedestrian routes
- Ideal for public parks, farm paths, and shared spaces
