We were thrilled to be part of a landmark rewilding project - installing a secure enclosure for the first beavers to be released in London in over 400 years! The project called for a carefully considered design, ensuring both the animals' safety and minimal disruption to the surrounding woodland habitat.

Beaver Enclosure with Ground Skirt Fencing
Built for Wildlife Protection
Secure and Thoughtfully Designed
The installation included over 1000 metres of specialist fencing with an integrated ground skirt to prevent burrowing escape, and custom sheeted gates. The team also constructed secure culverts with a bespoke outflow design to manage water safely within the enclosure.
  • Over 1000m of fencing with ground skirt
  • Installed for London's first beaver release in 400+ years
  • Custom sheeted access gates fitted throughout
  • Secure culverts with bespoke outflow system
  • Fencing blended into the environment with woodland clearance
Respect for the Landscape
Working Carefully in Sensitive Woodland
We used ground protection mats throughout the installation to prevent damage to the woodland floor while operating machinery. The fencing route was pre-cleared and will soon be hidden by regrowth, preserving the natural appearance of the area.
  • Ground protection mats used to minimise impact
  • Environmentally conscious installation practices
  • Future regrowth will help hide fence from view
