This large-scale fencing project was completed for Basildon Council at the Barleylands waste depot. With ongoing issues around trespassing and theft, the site needed a serious perimeter upgrade. We installed over 450 linear metres of 656 and 868 mesh panel security fencing - designed for strength, durability, and a clean, professional appearance.

The fencing was split across two terrain types - half installed directly into soil to replace a hedge and chainlink fence, and the other half drilled into concrete where the original chainlink previously stood. This mix of groundwork demonstrates our flexibility in adapting to different installation conditions.

868 Mesh Panel Fencing in Concrete
656 & 868 Mesh Panel Security
Tough, Tidy and Tamper-Resistant
We specified a mix of 656 and 868 mesh fencing - two of the most trusted types of welded mesh panels for perimeter security. These panels feature twin horizontal wires and a vertical wire for added rigidity, creating a triple wire barrier that's incredibly difficult to cut through.
  • Over 450m of high-spec mesh fencing installed
  • 656 & 868 twin wire panels for superior strength
  • Modern design enhances professional appearance
  • Installed into both soil and concrete foundations
  • Reduces access for trespassers and vandals
Council-Specified Perimeter Upgrade
Built to Deter, Designed to Last
This project met the security needs of a busy council depot while also improving the appearance of the site. The triple wire mesh structure is visually non-intrusive but exceptionally difficult to climb or cut, making it an ideal choice for preventing break-ins without creating an eyesore.
  • Chosen to tackle theft and unauthorised access
  • Chainlink and hedge replaced with mesh fencing
  • Designed for public sector durability and standards
  • Visually smart solution for high-traffic areas
  • Long-lasting, low-maintenance perimeter fencing
