We recently worked with Bedford Borough Council to deliver a secure new compound area within Harrold Odell Country Park. While their original request was to install palisade fencing, we advised a switch to V Profile mesh panel fencing - offering higher security, improved visibility, and a cleaner aesthetic that complements the park's natural setting. Not only was this option more effective, it was also more cost-efficient.
At Farm & Country Fencing, we always recommend the best solution for our clients' needs - never just the most expensive. Our goal is to deliver long-lasting, secure fencing that truly suits the site and purpose, not to upsell unnecessarily. In this case, we removed the damaged timber post and stock fencing (carefully set aside for the client to reuse) and installed around 100 metres of robust mesh panel fencing, along with a wide 5m double leaf gate to complete the compound.
