We recently completed a fantastic fencing project at Chancellor Park in Chelmsford, Essex - transforming a local ball court into a safer, more secure sports area. This project was part of a larger development, with over £50,000 invested in upgrading the pitch and perimeter fencing.

656 Mesh Sports Pitch Fencing - Chelmsford
Professional Ball Court Fencing
Robust 656 Mesh System for Sport and Safety
To ensure durability and performance, we installed a 3.7 metre high perimeter using our popular 656 twin-wire mesh fencing - a go-to choice for schools, parks and sports facilities. The bottom 1.2 metres uses strong rebound mesh to withstand constant impact, while the upper sections use standard 656 mesh for clear visibility and airflow.
  • 3.7m high perimeter fencing
  • 1.2m rebound mesh for high-impact zones
  • Standard 656 mesh above for airflow and visibility
  • Black powder-coated finish for sleek appearance
  • Bespoke cranked post extenders to deter intrusion
Reuse, Replace, Reinforce
Making the Most of Existing Site Features
We retained the existing access gates, carefully removing and replacing the posts and fencing panels to support the new design. Bespoke cranked extensions were added to each post, enhancing security and protecting the new sports surface from unauthorised access or damage.
  • Used existing access gates to reduce waste
  • Replaced all posts and panels with new system
  • Enhanced security with bespoke post extensions
  • Reduced disruption to the community during works
  • Delivered on time and within budget
