Cleft fencing is the original method of which our ancestors fenced their land thousands of years ago.
This fencing is still continued today and cleft oak or chestnut fencing makes a durable and very strong attractive barrier.
A recent project had us travelling to Hyde park in London to install this post and rail.
The fence fits in lovely with the surrounding trees and provides a secure barrier to keep people from venturing into the waterway.
