We were recently asked to complete a fencing project in the heart of the capital - Hyde Park, London. Our brief was to install a morticed post and rail fence that would blend in with the park's natural surroundings, while providing a robust barrier to prevent visitors from accessing a waterway.

Cleft post and rail fencing is one of the oldest known methods of enclosing land, dating back thousands of years. Its popularity endures thanks to its natural aesthetic and exceptional strength. In this case, it was the ideal choice to respect the historic setting of Hyde Park while fulfilling its modern role as a safety barrier.
