The design for the handling system was commissioned and finalised by the client with support from Farm & Country and IAE. The project required careful planning to work within the constraints of the existing building while still delivering a practical cattle handling setup.

Installation Challenges Inside the Building
Uneven Floors and Structural Constraints
The work was made more complex by the need to install a new 2.0m high muck clearing wall at the rear of a low roof building. The shed floor is a mix of chalk and concrete channels and falls approximately 450mm along the length of the building, with the channels themselves also not level with each other.

All posts in the system are socketed to allow easy removal and changes to the layout in the future. More pictures will follow as the works progress and the installation is completed.
