Concrete Farm Road

As part of a program of developments within Sturgeons Farm at Writtle College, we have recently laid a new main road throughout the farm.

This involved digging out the existing type 1 road materials and relaying with over 1200m2 of PAV2 concrete with fibre mesh. Installed in two phases to enable feed lorries to still deliver whilst works were underway.

The removed type 1 was separated and the clean material re laid to improve access to storage barns and a new implement storage area.
